Consultant Drivers Jonas has strengthened its Scottish arm with the appointment of a new associate.

Commercial property development, agency and investment specialist Sandy Gilmour has been involved in the acquisition, disposal and development of £50 million of Edinburgh office space for the firm over the last two years.

Mr Gilmour previously worked with Roxburgh & Company where he was head of agency and development.

Partner in charge of Drivers Jonas Scotland Alasdair Ramsay said: "I am delighted Sandy has been promoted to associate. 

"He is a valued asset to the team and although we are facing challenging market conditions, the Drivers Jonas group will recruit more than 75 people this year with a number of new appointments in the Glasgow and Edinburgh offices."
