Morgan Ashurst appoints new Scotland MD

Morgan Ashurst has appointed Harry Thorburn as its new managing director for Scotland.

Mr Thorburn joins from Bovis Lend Lease Scotland where he was managing director of the Scottish business and previously the UK head of business improvement.

He said: "I am very much looking forward to developing our construction activities in Scotland.

"Our involvement in a number of key education frameworks and projects in the commercial sector has enabled us to strengthen our presence in these core markets and we are confident of further business growth this year."

Mr Thorburn is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building and holds a BSc degree in civil engineering from Strathclyde University.
