Bids invited for £35m college rebuild

Stanmore College is inviting bids for its £35 million redevelopment.

Work at the Middlesex site will include demolition of the exisitng college and construction of a new further education facility.

The new college will be 11,036 sq m in size.

The project is expected to start on 19 January 2009 and will finish in August 2011.

Up to seven firms will be shortlisted for the job and tenders are due in on 6 October.
