Speedy Hire has reported strong first quarter revenue growth, with an increase of 36.4 per cent compared to the same period last year.
Chairman of Speedy Hire David Wallis said that this was boosted largely by a 53.6 per cent increase in revenue from its top 50 contracting group customers.
He said: "Other factors contributing to this growth include a continued move towards outsourcing and greater focus by major customers on supply chain efficiency and quality."
The increasing downturn in the housing market is not expected to affect the firm, as its main focus remains on public sector projects and large infrastructure projects in the private sector.
Speedy Hire will announce its interim results on 27 November.
