ACRIB holds F Gas compliance seminar
Industry experts and employers spell out obligations in ‘F Gas Essentials’ half-day session
For those contractors who are still not aware of their obligations to the F Gas regulations, Acrib has announced a public half-day seminar on June 22 at the Arden Hotel, Birmingham.
The conference is designed to help companies and engineers comply with the new rules that require registration, and appropriate training.
F-Gas Support will present a ‘Compliance Timetable’ on the day - called F Gas Essentials - while a training expert will head a session called Certification of Individuals, which includes an outline of the content of the new qualifications, and information for contractors to plan a training programme for apprentices and existing workers.
An employer will talk shortly after on its experience of tackling the F Gas regulations noting how it prepared employees, and the opportunities it sees following compliance.
The seminar will invite questions and answers from the audience and has made time for a ‘Bigger Picture’ presentation, where it will highlight the benefits of the legal obligations.
A free F Gas Essentials CD (normally £40) will be handed out on the day.
