FG Eurofred strengthens alliance with Wave
Arrangement will see culture of team working across the two businesses
FG Eurofred and Wave Air Conditioning have moved to strengthen their distribution arrangement by developing a closer working relationship.
The two parties have said they will enter into a spirit of openness to make the “whole greater than the sum of the parts”, although operationally both companies will not change.
Wave will continue to function as an independent distributor.
FG Eurofred’s sales director Tony Gittings said he welcomed the move at a time when industry is reacting to a period of rapid change with the economic downturn, and the introduction of new technology to address environmental concerns.
He said: “We have to work as closely and openly as possible with our distributors and ensure our direct sales force has the necessary skills to develop new business without cannibalising our existing distribution business.
“The experience of Wave’s key personnel will give our sales team access to a high level of skill and industry knowledge.
Andy Stanford, managing director of Wave said: “The arrangement will give us access to the support of a large organisation and security in an uncertain market, while allowing us to retain our independence.”
