LG offers hospitality trade free energy assessments
Consultation identifies government requirements under EPBD
LG is offering British Hospitality Association members a free energy efficiency consultation to help them comply with the European Energy Performance of Buildings Directive.
The air conditioning business said the consultation will benefit all business owners and operators who want to identify the requirements of government policies they have to meet under the EPBD.
As of 4 January this year an energy performance certificate and air conditioning inspection is mandatory on commercial buildings.
The evaluation includes a capital cost survey and suggests options for installing energy efficient hvac systems, which reduce running costs and cut carbon emissions.
LG’s project development manager (Multi V), Robert Bartmann said: “LG will work with operators to minimise cost and maximise the energy efficiency of the building so BHA members can profit from a significant reduction in carbon emissions and cash in on government incentive schemes.”
