Trane to put Aquastream chiller on the market
US air conditioning specialist Trane is to sell its hotly-anticipated chiller in Europe from next month.
The Aquastream 3G is an air-cooled, scroll compressor powered chiller, promising an average Energy Efficiency Ratio of 3.15 and 5-8 dB lower noise than previous models.
The Aquastream, which uses R410A as refrigerant is has an A rating for energy efficiency from Eurovent.
European vice president Pierre Cazal said: “Until now, customers faced a trade-off between a chiller with a quieter fan that produces less air flow and vice versa.”
