Specialists Awards 2011: The winners

The Specialists Awards, run by Construction News and supported by the NSCC, honour the finest specialist contractors and construction projects today. With the number and calibre of entries exceeding our judges’ expectations, competition was fierce and made these the awards to win.

The awards, hosted by stand up comedian, Alun Cochrane, brought together the key players in the industry and the ones to watch. After dinner entertainment included a charity casino for Crash.

Construction News editor Nick Edwards said: “Eighty companies made it onto the shortlist of this year’s awards across 18 categories. Eighty reasons why whatever the state of the economy, while the planners delay, the politicians talk and the bankers get paid, the country’s specialist subcontractors will keep on delivering the goods. Well done to all of you.”
