One aspect of the construction industry which has always amazed and impressed me is the volume and quality of “independent reviews” and revolutionary plans that the sector attracts. Reports of recent decades – from Latham, Egan, Levene, Wolstenholme and the National Audit Office – were excellent by any industry’s standard.
