Two quantity surveyors for fit-out specialist Morris & Spottiswood showed they both had a head for heights recently by taking part in a heart-stopping 14,500ft charity skydive.

Daredevil duo Chris Hamlett and John Smith made the death-defying leap at Black Knights Parachute Centre, near Lancaster for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Chris and John decided to take part in the jump after Chris’s grandfather, who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease, passed away earlier this year.

The pair wore fancy dress costumes for the dive, with Chris donning a Captain America suit and John jumping as Batman’s trusty sidekick, Robin (pictured).

The deal that has been struck means that the Homefinder brand will be displayed on the sleeve of both the home and away shirts as well as around the ground at both Yorkshire sides.

"Due to being based in Wakefield it makes commercial sense to sponsor the local team but the relationship with the Cougars has emerged from the franchising of the company, and the opening of a new office to cover the BD postcode" added Managing Director Steve Bletsoe.
