Sir Robert McAlpine's first commercial wind farm is due to start operations shortly. All 15 turbines at the Carland Cross site near Truro have been erected and vital testing is being carried out. The £7 million wind farm, developed by Sir Robert McAlpine subsidiary Renewable Energy Systems, will start operation in September.
