12Jul91 UK: NUTTALL REPAIRS AND STRENGTHENS SCOTSWOOD BRIDGE IN NEWCASTLE.

Decked out: Scotswood Bridge across the Tyne in Newcastle has been closed to traffic while Nuttall removes the reinforced concrete deck slabs, strengthens the girders and recasts the slabs. The closure has been made possible by the completion of the Blaydon Crossing for the Newcastle Western Bypass. Engineer is Mott MacDonald.
