Prof Michael Wright is to take up the position of non-executive chairman from January 1 next year. He succeeds Sir Jeffrey Benson, who will be retiring at the end of the year at the age of 70.Professor Wright holds chairs in engineering and management at Aston University and is the chairman of Aston Business School. Until 1990, he was chief executive of Molins.
