13Jul90 UK: SIR ROBERT MCALPINE WINS TWO DESIGN, MANAGE AND CONSTRUCT CONTRACTS FROM FUJITSU MICROELECTRONICS.
Sir Robert McAlpine has confirmed the award of a design, manage and construct contract by the Japanese electronics company, Fujitsu Microelectronics.The contractor will be responsible for two buildings at Newton Aycliffe near Darlington, which form part of Fujitsu's £400 million investment programme for a new semi-conductor factory on the site.This contract is the first phase in the scheme and although Sir Robert McAlpine cannot yet confirm the value of this stage or the phasing ...
