Edmund Nuttall has won a £12.5 million contract from Maritime Transport Services to extend its container terminal at Thamesport, Isle of Grain, Kent. The award follows Nuttall's completion in April of a 314m long jetty at the same site.The largest job entails the demolition of a jetty, dredging and the construction of a 320 m long reinforced concrete replacement structure supported on tubular steel piles.
