Work close to the track would normally have meant using tripod rigs but Keller was able to suggest a stable alternative - the self-erecting Watson 1500 rig with a 12 metre mast height. Instead of being limited to a couple of piles a day, the Watson rig enabled Keller to sink about ten to 12 piles, saving considerably on contract time.
