17Aug90 UK: PRISON CONTRACTS AWARDED TO TILBURY AND BOVIS. (Bovis is owned by The Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company.)

Two prison contracts totalling £23.8 million have been awarded by the Home Office.The larger is a £15.8 million job to Tilbury Construction for the erection of offices and improvements to all wings at Dartmoor prison, Devon.Bovis North has taken the second award, worth £8 million for first phase rebuilding for 170 cells at Strangeways, Manchester.
