Ex-Carillion director David Hurcomb named NG Bailey's new CEO
Former Carillion executive director David Hurcomb has been appointed as chief executive officer at building services firm NG Bailey.
Mr Hurcomb, who is currently interim CEO for Scotland-based Havelock Europa, will join NG Bailey in September. He will take over from acting CEO Chris Newton who will return to his previous role of chief fianance officer.
The 46-year-old stood down from the main board of Carillion, where he was responsible for the contractor’s UK building, private finance, property services and training businesses, last December.
Mr Hurcomb, who started with Carillion in 2005 after being appointed managing directors of its facilities management division, also held board responsibility for the company’s sustainability strategy, group-wide supply chain programme and was a director of its Middle East joint venture.
Prior to Carillion, he was a main board director for Mansell.
