Keller in Egypt

GROUND engineering expert Keller has bought an Egyptian specialist piling contractor for pounds 1.9 million. The deal reinforces Keller's presence in the Middle East, where it has operations in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states. An extra payment of pounds 700,000 will be made for specialist firm Genco depending on its performance to 2000. Peter Dobson, Keller chief executive, said: 'The Middle East and, in particular, Egypt is an exciting growth market.'
