RAC Listing: F-gas training centres
F-gas courses are up and running in the UK
Training centres offering the new F-gas examination schemes via City & Guilds, under the City & Guilds 2079 certificate, and Construction Skills’ F-Gas training & assessment are listed below.
The listing will be updated as and when new centres are approved.
All individuals whose work involves the handling of refrigerants within the scope of the F-gas regulation, need to take the new City & Guilds 2079 Assessment, or the CITB equivalent, by July 2011.
Current qualifications via City & Guilds 2078 and the CITB equivalent provide temporary evidence of qualification.
Some centres offer both the City & Guilds (categories 1-4) qualification and the CITB equivalent (categories J11-J14). Some courses are delivered on-site or mobile, and a few are online.
Bear in mind that not all training centres offer all categories - some offer just one.
