Lovell wins £17m housing job

Lovell has secured a £17 million housing regeneration contract in Basildon, Essex for Family Mosaic Housing.
Work will cover construction of 91 new affordable flats and houses for rent and shared ownership.
The project starts in September with the demolition of the two Royal Court tower blocks in King Edward Road.
As part of the new development, Lovell will also build a new community centre and shop to replace existing facilities.
The first new homes for rent are due to be handed over in September 2009.
