Council puts £30m museum road work out to tender

The Kensington and Chelsea Borough Council are asking for bidders for the £30 million over haul of Exhibition Road in Kensington.
The council plans to fund half the work, which includes integration of pedestrian and vehicle areas while preserving the public transport facilities in the area.
Its design is set tp reduce traffic to make it more accessible to the public.
The council wants construction to start before the end of 2008.
