Apollo scoops £46m of refurb work

Property services firm Apollo Property Services Group has won contracts to improve public sector facilities in and around London and the South East worth £46.6 million.

The contracts include improvement and modernisation programmes for 11 local authorities, health, education and registered social landlords.

Apollo Group managing director Rob McGregor said:  "These appointments see Apollo at the heart of a series of important investment projects which will deliver better services for local communities. Winning 13 new contracts for eleven clients in one hit is a great result."

The RSLs and housing associations are Hyde Housing Association, Hillingdon Homes, Old Ford Housing Association, Metropolitan Housing Trust, Affinity Sutton and Family Mosaic.

The health bodies are King's College London and Kensington and Chelsea Primary Care Trust.

The London councils are Southwark, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea as well as Lambeth.

Apollo employs 890 people and has an annual turnover of £257 million.
