Former Clugston chief appointed at GB

Former chief executive of Clugston Construction John Burnett has been appointed as north west regional managing director at GB Building Solutions.

Mr Burnett, who left Clugston in January after almost eight years, said his focus would be to grow the business across the region.

GB chairman Martin Smout said: "John has an excellent track record and a wealth of experience that will bring a huge benefit to our company in the north west."

Prior to his role at Clugston, Mr Burnett was regional managing director for Mowlem.
