A £85 million eco-friendly housing development has been given the green light from Liverpool's planning committee.
The scheme, known as Via Verde, will have 356 homes and sit behind Leeds Street.
Developer Viride Holdings hopes to make the project one of the greenest in Liverpool by giving families bicycles and encouraging residents to sign up to a public transport plan.
As well as homes Via Verde will also contain offices, bars, restaurants, shops and a store.
