Morgan Ashurst has been picked by Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council as construction partner to build a £6.5 million building for Rimrose Hope CE Primary School in Seaforth, Liverpool.
The new two-storey school will be located at the existing site and will replace the current school buildings.
The new facility will include a 13 classrooms for 315 pupils between four and 11 years old as well as a 26-place nursery, activity space, assembly hall, staff meeting rooms and kitchen.
A steel frame with a galvinised steel metal tile roof will form the structure of the building, with a brickwork exterior. All windows will be created from Forest Stewardship Council timber.
Work on the new school building is due to be completed in April 2009.
