Amey wins £20m contract to maintain road technology

Amey has won a £20 million contract to design, manage and maintain the Highway's Agency's road technology across the South-east of England.
Amey will have to manage the infrastructure and work alongside those responsible for managing the roads.
Work will include provision of emergency roadside telephones, CCTV, overhead and roadside message signs and traffic signals.
The five year contract starts on 29 September 2008.
