Bids invited for college revamp

Amersham & Wycombe College in Buckinghamshire is inviting bids from contractors to build a new facility at its Amersham site.

The £40 million job will involve partial demolition and phase construction.

Procurement is likely to be through a two stage design and build approach.

Deadline for tenders is 18 September, with work scheduled to start on 15 January 2009.

The project is scheduled to be completed by 1 April 2012.
