Bids sought for £125m Brighton maintenance deal

A mammoth framework deal to refurbish homes and car parking spaces has been advertised by Brighton and Hove City Council.
The agreement, which will last ten years, has been broken up into four lots, which are worth between £40 million and £125 million.
Work will cover refurbishment of 12,287 houses, a number of car parking spaces, garage sites, commercial properties and 2,230 leasehold properties across Brighton and Hove.
Up to 25 bidders will be invited to tender for the work. Firms have until 9 October to express an interest.
