Stent appoints business development manager

Piling foundation specialist Stent Foundations has appointed Peter Turner as business development manager for the Southern region.

Mr Turner will be responsible for expanding the company's business activities in this region, which includes London.

He has been with Stent for seven years and was most recently a proposals engineer in the major projects division where he was responsible for tendering and submitting proposals for large piling projects such the Shard of Glass structure and the M74 extension.

Stent is part of Balfour Beatty Ground Engineering.
