A £100 million upgrade of Bath's Royal United Hospital has been announced.
Wards built in the 1930s will be demolished and replaced under the plans unveiled by the hospital trust's board.
A new cancer centre and outpatient building with pathology labs will also be built, with work expected to be completed by 2014.
