Tarmac appoints contracting directors

Tarmac's national contracting division has appointed two directors for its Midlands and Western regions.
Mike Elford transfers to contracting director for the Western region. He will be responsible for driving and expanding business through the region.
Rick Green replaces Mr Elford as contracting director for the Midlands. He joins Tarmac from Ennstone Johnston where he was a director.
Head of Tarmac National Contracting Paul Fleetham said: "Mike has played a major role in Tarmac's success in the Midlands area to ensure it is in good shape for the future.
"Tarmac has strong ambitions for further growth in the Midlands and Western areas and we are confident that with Mike and Rick's significant experience of the highways sector they are the right people to move the business forward."
