Earth Tech Morrison has won an £8.3 million deal from Yorkshire Water to improve the Eccup water treatment works in the Leeds.
The project is to build a new treatment stage to remove manganese and carry out maintenance work – a new filter block, a shaft for a pumping station and increased wall heights.
Completion is expected in November 2009 and work will start on site in August this year.
