Contractors are invited to bid for an £9 million deal to expand sports facilities at the University of Leeds.
Work will cover construction of a 3,195 sq m extension to house a multi-use health, fitness and swimming pool complex.
The facility will include an eight lane 25m swimming pool, squash court and climbing wall.
Construction value of the project is estimated at £8.7 million with an additional £300,000 to be spent on refurbishing existing facilities.
Between four and six bidders will be invited to tender for the contract which is due to start in February 2009. Completion is due in May 2010.
Firms have until 20 August to express an interest.
