Sainsbury's and Land Securities given green light for store extension

A joint venture between Sainsbury’s and Land Securities has been given approval to extend and improve Lincoln’s Tritton Road supermarket.

The City of Lincoln Council’s planning committee voted unanimously in favour of the proposed extension. The plans will have to be rubber stamped, however, by the Government office for the East Midlands.

The project will include an extension to the existing building, a refit of the current store layout, construction of a new entrance lobby, new car park space, and improvements to highway infrastructure at Doddington Road and Tritton Road.
