Atkins appoints new head of rail

Atkins has appointed Liam Ryan to regional manager for Wales with a focus on the rail sector.

Mr Ryan has been working with the firm for eight years in the highways and transportation business.

Atkins is currently working on numerous station enhancements in Wales and is also delivering rail projects from Cardiff to the UK and internationally, including a role in the development and design of two new stations in Dubai as part of the city's Metro project.
